Seminar “Wasser und Wald” (ANW Bayern e.V.)

The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Naturgemäße Forstwirtschaft Bayern e.V. organized the seminar "Water and Forests" at the University of Bayreuth.
Among the solicited speakers was Daniel Abel, who presented results of the EFRE project BigData@Geo (https://bigdata-at-geo.eu/) under the title "Water Balance on Landscape Level - A Lower Franconian Focus". In terms of content, the temperature and precipitation anomalies as well as resulting dry soils of the last years in Lower Franconia were described as well as put into a historical, large-scale, and future context.
