CATENA

CATENA is a generic processing chain, implemented at the German Remote Sensing Data Center at the German Aerospace Center (DLR-DFD) in cooperation with the Remote Sensing Technology Institute (DLR-IMF). It aims the fully automatic processing of satellite imagery and bases on the image processing system XDIBIAS, developed at the DLR. The generic processing chain is already implemented for numerous optical sensors.

For this processing chain a modul will be developed, which automates a radiometric adaption of different remote sensing imagery of various optical sensor systems. This pre-processing step allows further modeling and mapping of study sites, exceeding the size of individual satellite data sets.
