We mourn the loss of our dear and valued colleague

Susanne (Susi) Hedler

* 16 April 1965     † 21 April 2025

Since April 1, 2024, Susi has enriched our entire team at her workplace in the EORC secretariat with her open and friendly manner. We could always rely on Susi. She was more than just a pillar of our EORC secretariat - she was also a warm and caring person who supported us all in administrative matters and had an open ear for everyone. In the last few weeks, she even decided to improve her English skills and therefore started attending courses. Susi wanted to be able to communicate better with all her international colleagues and students. The opportunity to work with us at EORC until she retires put a big and genuine smile on her face. The same goes for us.

We are shocked by the news that Susi embarked on her final journey far too early for everyone on April 21, 2025. We will miss her work very much. We will remember her fondly and always honour her memory.
