New team member at the Chair of Economic Geography: Dr. Juliane Schumacher
08/01/2025We warmly welcome Ms. Dr. Juliane Schumacher, who has been supporting the team of the Chair of Economic Geography in research and teaching since August 1, 2025.
After positions at the Leibniz Centre for Modern Oriental Studies and Humboldt University of Berlin, Dr. Juliane Schumacher will, starting August 1, 2025, investigate in her new project—using perspectives from political ecology and critical geography—how artificial intelligence is transforming the evaluation and use of landscapes.
