Sina Hardaker: Book on "Online Retail and Space" Published
04/02/2025Together with Prof. Dr. Cordula Neiberger (RWTH Aachen) and Dr. Thomas Wieland (Coop), Dr. Sina Hardaker co-edited the German-language book Onlinehandel und Raum. Eine geographische Perspektive auf den Einzelhandel [Online Retail and Space: A Geographical Perspective on Retail].
In a time of rapid technological change and evolving consumer landscapes, the book offers a contemporary analysis of the merging of digital commerce and geographic spaces.
It examines how online retail is redefining and reorganizing traditional concepts of market, location, and accessibility, and explores the spatial impacts these developments have on cities and rural regions. The contributions in this volume range from digital platforms to consumer behavior patterns and urban planning, providing important insights into the geographical dimensions of online retail.
